Redline

Redline is a handheld drag racing game. The device is shaped in the form of a steering wheel, but no steering is required. The player has two buttons, one for gas and one for shifting gear. The goal is to go as fast as possible as quickly as possible. Two LED displays give information on the current state of the car: one shows the gear and another the RPM. Additional LED lights show the position on the track and state of the race. There are four different car presets and the device keeps record of the player's best runs.

A unique feature for a handheld at the time is that it can be connected by wire to another to allow for two player multiplayer.
