RISS Solitaire 8-Pak
Description
RISS Solitaire 8-Pak is a collection of eight solitaire card games comprising the RISS Solitaire 5-Pak which contains Golf, Klondike, Frog, King Albert, and The Vanishing Cross solitaire games plus Pyramid, Canfield and Friday the 13th.
When the games install they appear as separate games within Windows, each with it's own user guide that opens in a new window. All games allow the player to change the background colour but not the backs of the card etc. The games have an undo feature that undoes a single move at a time, they have no save game function and, other than recording the current best score in Golf solitaire, keep no statistics. Both the 5-Pak and 8-Pak games were sold on-line as shareware, the full set of eight games later appeared in Cosmi Corporation's 201 Solid Gold Games compilation.
