Rival Wheels

Rival Wheels is a motorbike racing game. It is the 2D version of the smartphone game with the same name which it differs from in the use of an isometric birds' view perspective and gameplay that is most similar to an endless running game. Races take place on three-lane streets where the player moves left and right in an attempt to reach the finishing line without hitting cars, trucks and other obstacles. In addition to the runner races, there are also pursuit races where the player has to catch up with an opponent and duel races where bosses have to be defeated by gear changing on time similar to the smartphone game.

The game has three locations (Tokyo, Havana and New York) each with ten races. Each race has three objectives with the player earning wheels for each. Wheels are needed to unlock the next location. During races, coins can be collected and afterward used to unlock special skills. Each bike has one special skill. All bikes are licensed from manufacturers such as Suzuki and Ducati and are unlocked by winning races.
