Robotz DX

Robotz DX is a freeware remake of an earlier Atari ST game (also released for free at the time), recreated with slight enhancements to the graphics, sounds and gameplay. The basic mechanics are still the same, where the player controls a soldier shooting robots on randomly-generated rooms. Each level takes place on a single screen where all the enemy machines have to be eliminated within sixty seconds.

Some of the robots can only be defeated after disabling their shield generators, a series of red orbs scattered around the level that have to be demolished with five shots. There's no energy bar, the main character dies immediately after receiving a single hit from incoming fire. Several bonus items can be collected to score extra points, with some concealed inside computer consoles and other scenery features that must be shot to reveal their hidden contents.
