Rocket Jockey

A space station is in orbit and your job is to take off with your rocket, successfully dock, and safely return. And then repeat. Rocket Jockey is an arcade game for one or two players, each controlling a space rocket and racing for score. Each successful docking adds points, but crashing back on the planet surface will deprive them one life.

The game employs simple physics of acceleration, gravity and inertia and plays not unlike Lunar Lander, with the player(s) using just one key for applying thrust. The challenge in balancing gravity versus inertia, while at the same time trying not to use up your limited supply of fuel. When your fuel gauge goes below a certain level, you are eligible for ground refueling, provided you perform a soft touchdown, that is.
