Description
Dr. Wily's at it again, and this time he's teamed up with aliens(?). Following the crash-landing of a mysterious meteor, Dr. Wily launches his new plan for global domination with the help of a set of extraterrestrial Robot Masters. As always, it's up to Rockman to save the day - but this time, he won't be doing it alone.
Like traditional Mega Man games, Rockman Strategy has the player travelling through a series of themed levels in order to defeat Robot Masters. In this game, each level is a turn-based strategy mission; Rockman forms squads with fellow robots Rush, Rightot, Eddy, Blues, and the newly-introduced Fan in order to take out groups of enemy robots. Similar to games like Shining Force or Fire Emblem, strategic battles take place on a grid divided into squares and combat scenes are depicted via separate cutaway side-view screens.
