Rocky

Rocky is a 1-player arcade game for the BBC Micro. The player must defeat mutants and robots by dropping rocks on them. The player moves in the cardinal directions, and can pick up and drop rocks. Dropped rocks will fall to the bottom of the screen, and if they hit a monster, the monster is destroyed.

Mutants and robots move about the screen and emit a yellow light. Being caught in this beam reduces the player's strength. If the player is touched by a monster or loses all their strength they lose a life. If the player is caught in the beam while not carrying a rock, the enemy transforms into a specter or cruncher. The specter chases the player while the cruncher eats rocks. The player starts with three lives.
