Description
Roundup! is a fast action game for the TRS-80. It is essentially a clone of the classic Atari 2600 game Stampede by Activision.
You are riding a horse and can only move up or down as your horse runs to the right at a constant speed. Your job is to lasso cows for 10 points each, and steers for 50 points each. The steers sit there and wait for you to reach them while the cows run away from you at varying speeds. If you miss 3 animals, the game is over, although each 1000 points gets you an extra miss. If you hit a cow, it will run away, giving you more time to catch it, but hitting a steer or a cow skull causes your horse to rear up, which stuns you for several seconds.
