Description
Runes is a single player, shareware, keyboard controlled platform puzzle game from Soleau Software, it is similar to other puzzle games from them such as Duffer Dave and Jungle Jean.
The story behind the game is that the Roman Senate has sent a scholar to discover the secret of 'The Oracle Of The Runes' ant in order to achieve this he must solve the of how to escape from a series of rooms. To escape each room Marcus must pick up and move marble blocks to create steps so he can get to the exit, some puzzles also require that he get to a lever that removes some floor panels
There are twenty-six puzzles in this game, one for each letter of the alphabet A-Z, only the letters A-J are available in the shareware version. The puzzles are not timed and can be played in any order
