Sailor Man

Sailor Man is a variant of the arcade game Popeye. This version of the game features largely identical gameplay and contains all three levels from the original game. The player's task is to collect the items dropped by the woman that in this version is called Elsie and not Olive Oyl. In the first level they are hearts, in the second notes and in the third letters making out the word HELP. At the same time it is necessary to avoid Bigfatbadguy who is pursuing the player as well as Olduglyseawoman who throws bottles. These have to be either avoided or punched. Bigfatbadguy can only be taken out for a short while by hitting a punching bag so that a bucket falls down on his head. On all screens it is possible to eat a can of collard greens to gain extra speed, strength and agility which allows the player to knock out Bigfatbadguy.

The game can be customized from an options screen. It is possible to select which screen each player starts at, the number of lives as well as the difficulty level. There is also an invisible screen mode where all of the background graphics (including platforms and ladders) disappear.
