Sakura Kakumei: Hanasaku Otome-tachi

The first mobile Sakura Wars game, Sakura Kakumei takes place in an alternate version of our present day. Following a great disaster in 1995, the world was able to recover thanks to the use of a spiritual power known as Mirai. Unfortunately, the use of Mirai has attracted demons known as Koki, leading to the formation of the Great Imperial Combat Revue B.L.A.C.K. who are tasked with taking them down. Players take the role of Captain Ohishi, a rookie officer whose ingenuity and tactics lead him to be quickly promoted into a higher role.

Like with other games in the Sakura Wars series, Sakura Kakumei is a strategy game in which players assemble a squad of three armored officers known as "maidens". Battlefields are divided into several lines of battle, with the positioning of maidens being key to managing enemy aggression. Players start the game with the key story character Shino Sakura in their army and are able to recruit via randomized microtransactions.
