Scorched

Scorched is a free-to-play, nearly top-down racing game with one-sided combat set in a vaguely post-apocalyptic future. Players participate in deathly races on deserted roads of the post-apocalyptic world. The game uses a cel-shaded visual style and an arcade driving model. There are four environments (desert, forest, mountain, wasteland) to drive through, four game modes (outpace the AI, outgun the AI, beat the clock, precision driving), twelve cars to unlock, twenty upgrades per vehicle, seven weapons to unlock and upgrade, seventy-five events to play across three classes, plus bonus challenge events (necessary to use the seventh weapon). It is ostensibly single-player but competing with friends is possible via leaderboards.
