SCP-087
Description
SCP-087 is a short experimental horror game based on the short story “SCP-087 - The Stairwell” by the SCP Foundation. The story deals with paranormal phenomena of a probably infinite dark staircase located in an unspecified campus. Three test subjects (termed Class-D personnel) have separately descended the dark steps to discover paranormal activity and, eventually, the horrid SCP-087-1. Players apparently control the fourth test subject who starts the game facing the staircase, the door locked behind him.
Visually the game is a 3D experience of descending the staircase. As the player descends they experience visual and audio paranormal phenomena. Each game session is unique to a certain degree since the game features procedural generation of floors and events.
