SD Qlympics
Description
SD Qlympics is a button mashing, keyboard controlled game for one to four people in which the player takes shapely cartoon style young ladies through a series of sporting events.
The game has two modes of play, Practice mode and Combat mode. Practice mode is where the player competes at individual events against an AI opponent, Combat mode is where player(s) compete over a series of events to become the champion.
Combat mode always has four competitors and consists of the following events; 100 meter hurdles, high jump, shot put, 200 meter dash, long jump, javelin throw and 800 meter race. Each human player has two buttons to bash and these are used to get their character running. In certain events such as the javelin and shot put there is a point after the run-up where holding down a button changes the angle at which the projectile is launched. The 800m race is the only one where the player has to keep an eye on their runners stamina. Races are always run in split screen mode with a bar in the centre of the screen showing the relative positions of the runners.
