Senri no Kifu: Gendai Shōgi Mystery

Senri no Kifu is an enhanced, expanded rerelease of the mobile game of the same title. It hybridizes detective mystery adventures with the classical Japanese board game shogi. Set in the cutthroat world of modern shogi, the player takes the part of a detective investigating a series of suspicious murders of shogi players. Players will not only need to investigate the murders and determine the culprits, they'll actually need to play shogi to solve the mystery. Real-world shogi players make cameo appearances in several cases.

Compared to the original game, this version overhauls the presentation and gameplay and includes several new cases. It also features an extensive new shogi school mode which helps new players become skilled at the game.
