Shadows of the Tusk

Shadows of the Tusk is a multiplayer deck-building strategy game. Players take turns summoning creatures to fight for them, and giving them orders to attack the opposing player. Each player has a deck of cards which each represent a specific creature or character, and a pool of 30 mana with which to summon creatures or perform actions. Each character has specific stats and abilities, with stronger characters generally requiring more mana to summon or use their skills. Mana can be replenished by placing creatures on certain tiles, and the goal of each match is to defeat the opponent's leader.

The game includes several modes. The story mode includes eight stages which each unlocks additional cards for the player's deck, and functionally acts as a tutorial. Practice mode lets the player try out new decks, while Ante mode lets the player wager their cards in a match against the computer to acquire new cards. There is also a two-player versus mode with both local play and network play via the XBand service. There are 40 total cards to collect and up to eight different decks can be saved.
