Shaiya

Shaiya is a free-to-play fantasy MMORPG. Set in a high-fantasy world divided between two warring factions, the Alliance of Light and the Union of Fury, the game features a traditional structure of race and class selection, level progression through combat and quests, and large-scale player-versus-player (PvP) battles. Each faction includes two races and six distinct classes, ranging from melee fighters to spellcasters and healers, following the archetypes of classic RPG design.

A distinct element is the game's difficulty system, particularly Ultimate Mode, which offers increased stat growth and exclusive abilities, but introduces permadeath unless players use a special resurrection item. Combat and progression revolve heavily around grinding, with experience gain and gear acquisition requiring extensive repetition. PvP is central to the experience, offering ranked battlegrounds divided by level brackets. Victories yield kill points, used to enhance character stats. Powerful items and buffs can be purchased through the in-game item mall.
