Shikhondo: Red Purgatory

Shikhondo: Red Purgatory is an expanded arcade version of Shikhondo: Soul Eater featuring an updated visual presentation and new game modes. The "normal" mode featuers a beginner-friendly arrangement of the original game, while the new "hard" mode features a dramatically harder challenge. Player characters are now voiced in both English and Japanese, with new voiced cutscenes before and after every stage which tell the game's story in greater depth. The visual presentation has been revamped with true 9:16 vertical orientation, optimized for arcade cabinets with vertical monitors.
