Ships!

Ships! is a 2-player 18th century nautical strategy game for the TI-99/4A.

Each player navigates a fleet of 3 black or 3 white man-o-war, where each ship has an individual number of masts, men, and guns. The screen appears with ships, islands, and weather set into their starting positions. A merchant ship appears at the bottom of the screen, and the black ship wins if sinks the merchant, and the white ship wins if the merchant vessel travels off the left edge of the screen.

Wind can blow in 8 separate directions, and 6 degrees of severity, which effect ship movement and shooting accuracy. There's a 1 in 6 chance of fog covering the area each turn, forcing the player to make their decisions based on the previous ship locations. Types of shot includes round shot, chain shot, and double shot. Ship masts can be repaired when out of range of enemy vessels.
