Shrooms

Shrooms is a homebrew Centipede clone.

Like Centipede, it is a fixed-screen shooter where the player must shoot the titular centipede. The player is represented by a $ symbol.

The game title comes from the various mushrooms that appear throughout the game. When a segment of the centipede is destroyed, it transforms into a mushroom. In addition to the regular mushrooms, there are poisoned mushrooms and damaged mushrooms (when shot).

In addition to the centipede, there are several other enemies:

• Spider: jumps around.
• Flea: appears at the top and moves quickly straight down.
• Scorpion: poisons mushrooms and moves from left to right or right to left, always targeting the mushrooms.

After a game, the player can enter their initials in a high score list.
