Simsoc 6

Simsoc 6 is an early football management game where one takes the role of a manager of a UK-based football team, starting in non-league and working your way up to league divisions, FA and European cup. As an option one can also be a player, although non-playable.

Squad management is done through mouse-driven windows where one uses player statistics to pick a squad and substitutes from game to game. Also between game, a transfer market with negotiation is available and basic squad management is required (training players).

Matches are shown as fully automated from a side view, one can only choose playback speed and select substitute players.

The game was released as freeware.
