Sky Army

Sky Army is a side-scrolling shoot-em-up, where you control a helicopter with two types of ammunition. You have forward facing guns, which are fired horizontally, and bombs which fall vertically. Each level of game-play consists of three rounds.

The first round takes place on a fixed screen, with enemy ground-forces trying to create a bridge over a river. You must prevent this by blowing up the engineer squads and the copters transporting the bridge components. Destroying a quota of enemies allows you to progress. In the second round, you travel from the enemy lands back to support your own troops. On the way you are harassed by enemy aircraft, surface-to-air missiles, submarines and lightning strikes.

In the final round, you have to support your own troops in creating a bridge. The bridge components arrive by helicopter at the top of the screen. You have to transfer the cargo, and ferry it to the engineer working on the ground. While you are doing this, you are under attack by enemy helicopters. There are also fast moving bombers which will parachute bombs. These bombs will destroy the entire bridge unless you explode them first. Once the bridge is completed, the rounds repeat.
