Sky-Joust

Sky-Joust is a 1-player arcade game for the Dragon 32/64.

The player controls a knight atop a giant flying ostrich, trying to shoot down enemy knights as they appear on the play field. The ostrich can also walk slowly along flat platforms. The player can fire horizontally straight ahead, and enemy knights will quickly return fire if the player comes into firing range. Enemies continuously appear on the platforms on the stage and fly about. On higher levels, enemies move along platforms making it unsafe at the bottom of the screen. The player starts with four lives, and receives a new life and advances to a new level every 10,000 points.
