Skybombers

Skybombers is a 2-player competitive arcade game for Apple II.

Each player controls an aircraft that flies continuously towards the enemy's orange base, and then loops back to the opposite side of the screen. The players are armed with anti-aircraft guns and bombs, which can be dropped on the enemy base. Players have infinite planes. Gameplay continues until one base takes enough damage that it is destroyed, with the winning player being the one with the most points. When an enemy aircraft is shot down, the destroyed player parachutes away. Players are awarded 1 point for destroying an aircraft, or their opponent crashing theirs. 2 points are awarded for every strike on the enemy's base, and 20 points are awarded for destroying the base. 15 points are awarded for shooting down a parachuting enemy.
