Snap Jack
Description
Snap Jack is a forced horizontally scrolling arcade game. You control a car with extendable legs, which allow you to drive above obstacles, and are pursued by jellyfish like "Medusa Jacks". While escaping, you may collect dots that appear in the path ahead. Every 20 dots you collect will cause a special power dot to appear. Grabbing the power dot will give you temporary invincibility so you can turn the tables on your pursuers. While the power dot is active, bonus letters spelling out the word EXTRA blink in and out of existence. Collecting all of the letters of this word in any order will give you an extra life.
In addition to avoiding the medusa jacks, there are other miscellaneous obstacles including bouncing barrels, firey comets, large predatory fish and some bridges that open and close to the tune of "London Bridge". The terrain also undulates, making it possible to lose a life by hitting the ceiling. Each section of terrain, or level, ends with a jump over water onto trampolines. Successfully making the jump will award you bonus points for that level based on the number of medusa jacks you have snapped.
