Snow

Snow is a Japanese adult romance visual novel which takes place in a town perpetually covered in snow.

The player takes on the role of Kanata Izumo, a young man who visits the snowy village of Ryūjin-mura to start a part-time job at the inn owned by his cousin. There is a local legend which claims that the village was protected by the dragon goddess who fell in love with a human, but this love was forbidden, which caused the village to be covered in an eternal snow. As Kanata starts his new job, he meets four local girls: Sumino Yukizuki, a childhood friend of Kanata's whose father has recently died; Asahi Hiyorigawa, a hyperactive girl who says that she will repulse the evil from him; Shigure Kitazato, a shy and mysterious girl; and Ōka Wakō, a little girl waiting for her parents at the shrine.

At certain points throughout the game, the player must make a decision which may cause the story to branch into a different route. Sumino and Asahi have associated routes which must be completed before Shigure's route is unlocked. Completing Shigure's route unlocks Ōka's, which serves as the true ending to the game, though the game also features many other endings which may be achieved depending on the player's decisions.

The adult versions of Snow include explicit sexual content, while the non-adult versions omit these scenes. The Dreamcast version includes voice acting.
