Solitaire King: Sly Fox

Description

Solitaire King: Sly Fox is a single player card game.

This game is played with two standard deck of fifty-two cards and the object is to arrange the cards in four suited ascending sequences and four suited descending sequences from king to ace.

The cards are shuffled and twenty cards are dealt in a five by four rectangle on either side of which are the four foundations on which the sequences are built. The player starts by moving any cards they can to the foundations, when this has been completed the first twenty cards from the stock pile are taken to form what is called a buffer, turned face up one at a time, and placed somewhere on the twenty piles in the game area - they may not be placed onto the foundations. When all cards have been placed onto the central piles the player may once again begin transferring cards to the foundations in sequence. When no more cards can be transferred the player repeats the process with the next twenty cards and so on until all cards have been dealt.

The game has a variation which can be enabled via a menu bar option which makes the game easier to complete, this allows the player to place cards directly to the foundations when taking cards from the buffer.

The player scores one point for cards moved to the foundation but scoring stops as soon as the player uses the Undo or Load a saved game options.

The game has save/load and undo/redo functions but has no sound and no statistics are kept. It is played entirely with the mouse
