Son of the Mask

The Mask of Loki, a magical mask that bestows all the powers of the god of mischief upon whoever wears it, has fallen into the hands of hapless American cartoonist Tim Avery. While wearing the mask, Tim conceives a son, Alvey, with his wife. Due to the... unique circumstances of his conception, Alvey is born with Loki's powers. Loki's father, Odin, sends the trickster god to recover the mask and put an end to the chaos that the mask has caused on Earth. As Alvey, you must use your powers to find a way to escape from the madness.

Son of the Mask is a side-scrolling platformer based on the fantasy comedy film of the same name. The objective is to reach the exit of each level, avoiding being injured by enemies along the way. Alvey can collect power-ups such as magic balloons that will inflate his head to enable him to fly, baby bottles that replenish health, and gumball projectiles that can be used to defeat enemies from a distance. Alvey can also defeat enemies by bouncing on their heads and can dash in either direction as well as break through weak floors by turning into a cartoonish tornado.
