Sonic Triple Trouble 16-Bit
Description
Sonic Triple Trouble 16-Bit is a fan-made remake of the 8-bit game Sonic the Hedgehog: Triple Trouble redone in a style similar to Sonic the Hedgehog 3.
Dr. Robotnik once more tries to steal the Chaos Emeralds, but this time Sonic and Tails are faced with the triple trouble of Robotnik, Knuckles and Nack the Weasel.
Levels are themed after the original game, but level layouts are entirely new, with new or expanded boss battles, level gimmicks and bonus stages. While the original game lets the player control as either Sonic or Tails, here both characters are active at the same time as in Sonic 2 and can be switched on the fly. Secret extra characters can be unlocked by completing goals.
There are also several multiplayer modes available, where two players can compete, as well as a special story mode where the multiplayer modes can be enjoyed against an AI opponent.
