Sonic X Shadow Generations (Day One Edition)

Sonic X Shadow Generations (Day One Edition) is a Special Edition of Sonic X Shadow Generations available through pre-ordering the physical version of the game at retailers before the game's launch. It includes a few physical bonuses/extras that are not included in a physical standard copy.

Included in this release are three extras; the first is a DLC voucher for the redeemable "Sonic Adventure Legacy Skin," which gives Modern Sonic a playable skin based off his appearance in Sonic Adventure. This is similar to what is offered digitally as extras for the other playable characters, as Classic Sonic receives the "Sonic Jam Legacy Skin" and Shadow, through the Digital Deluxe Edition, receives a skin based off his early character design, Terios the Hedgehog.

The second bonus is for the case itself, which is a "Reversible Cover Sheet." The case uses the Japanese/Asian Key Art for the inlay of the cover, which was only used in those regions and not seen elsewhere.

The third and last bonus included is a physical version of Gerald Robotnik's Journal, which is a small booklet detailing the life of Professor Gerald Robotnik. This is actually included in Shadow Generations as the pages are scattered through White Space, but this is the only edition of the game that includes a physical version of the journal.
