Sōten no Celenaria: What a Beautiful World

In Celenaria, a land powered by advanced steam technology, Connie, the captain of the independent airship Ulmensh, leads a crew who struggle to make ends meet. Meanwhile, the vast empire that controls half of Celenaria is in pursuit of a mysterious green book owned by a girl named Yaro. When Connie and Yaro's lives collide, Connie finds herself whisked away on a fantastical adventure that will take her to the edges of the world itself.

Souten no Celenaria: What a Beautiful World is an adult fantasy visual novel with an inventory system and resource management gameplay. The player travels around Celenaria in the Ulmensh by consulting a map and clicking on the direction they wish to travel. However, the player must think carefully about where they want to travel to, because the Ulmensh consumes fuel whenever it moves. The player must also be mindful about things like weather patterns and the weight of cargo stored in the Ulmensh over the course of the game because it can affect how far the ship can travel.

Each city that Connie visits has its own selection of items that can be bought and sold in addition to quests that contribute towards the greater narrative. In typical visual novel fashion, the player can periodically make choices that alter the development of the story, though all choices eventually lead back around to the main plot that results in a single ending.
