Description
SoulEater is a 3D action game with horror elements. After obtaining the cursed sword Soul Eater, Ruin finds himself enchanted by the bloodthirsty sword's magic. Controlling Ruin, players can time their attacks to perform different combos. In addition, various spells and items can be found throughout the levels.
Players fight their way through different areas, needing to defeat all enemies in a room before progressing. The game also includes a Practice mode as well as a two-player VS mode, wherein the second player controls the enemies. In addition, there are three levels of difficulty, with the third being a time-attack mode.
A distinct aspect of the combat is the charge system. By holding either of the two attack buttons, the corresponding meter will begin to fill up. Releasing it produces different attacks based on how full the meter is, resulting in a large variety of attack combinations.
