Space Ace

Space Ace is a 1-player arcade game for the 8-bit Atari.

The player controls a small space vessel that can travel in all directions, and fires vertically forwards. Constantly scrolling asteroids move towards the player, which must be dodged or destroyed. The player must avoid Silurian Space Mines with alternating visibility, Silurian Warships which streak towards the player, and the large rotating Death Vortex. The player's score is based upon items destroyed, and gameplay becomes progressively faster. The player starts with 5 lives, and it's game over when all are lost. There are 3 levels of difficulty.
