Space Adventure

Space Adventure is a text-based adventure game for the Apple II.

In this Star Wars-themed adventure game, you play as a Rebel pilot and fighter who has been captured aboard the flagship of the evil Galactic Empire. The player must explore the flagship, and fight or evade Imperial warriors as well as the Shadow Lord. The player starts with a vorpal blade, but can acquire Imperial lasers and shields from fallen enemies, or fight hand-to-hand. The player has a set list of commands, and explores the flagship by moving north, south, east, and west.

During exploration, the player can meet up with a Martian or Princess Tallia, who will join their party to help fight with the player. As the player explores, they will encounter rooms of Imperial machinery which can be sabotaged, weakening the enemy's vessels. Before fleeing, the player must make the tractor beam inoperable. the Flagship itself can be destroyed by sabotaging all machinery. Chasms can be crossed by acquiring rope, and swinging across.
