Space Array

Space Array is a space-themed jig saw puzzle game.

The object is to create the most accurate picture by placing puzzle pieces on a 7 x 7 grid. The goal is to make sure all air hoses, pieces of the mothership, asteroids, rockets, and other heavenly bodies are properly constructed. Players are randomly given a large number of puzzle pieces one at a time. The player can place the first piece anywhere on the grid, but all subsequent pieces must be adjacent to an already placed puzzle piece. The player can choose to play a piece, or hold it for later, and can hold a maximum of 20 pieces at a time. The player loses the game if they have more than 20 pieces in their hand. On each turn, the player can choose to take one more random piece, some of which can be rotated and some of which can not. Once the 7 x 7 grid is filled, the player receives a score based upon how well their different pieces align to make a coherent picture, with malaligned pieces leading to a lower score.
