Space Barnacle

Space Barnacle is a bloody metroidvania set in space. Your ship is shot down by a mysterious energy beam located on a treacherous chain of asteroids, mortally wounding your alien father. Just before he dies, he gives you his gun, and you must set out on your own to avenge him, and discover the hidden secrets of the environment.

The game features bloody pixelated particle effects and fleshy gibs that fly everywhere. The design philosophy is a low resolution wide screen presentation, with modern graphical effects and amenities. There are no lives. When the character dies, you restart from the last major area entrance.
