Space Empires II

Space Empires II is the second in a series of exploration-based strategy games.

This is a game for one to four players, or for one player and up to three AI opponents. In this game the player designs, builds and launches ships with which they explore and conquer the universe. To do this they colonise planets to increase their wealth and make technological advances.

Technology dictates the size of spaceship that can be developed. The full game allows the player to play to technology level five while the full, registered version contains twenty tech levels allowing the player to deploy Battle Cruisers, Dreadnoughts, Starbases, Cloaking Devices and Destroy Suns.
