Space Flaper
Description
A bat-like space bird (Flaper) is flapping its wings and heading for Earth. It carrying a bomb, so it has to be taken out only using a beam cannon.
Space Flaper is a Space Invaders variant in which the player controls a ship that moves left to right at the bottom of the screen and fires vertically. The player can hide behind three barriers, which provide protection, or shoot through them at enemies moving across the screen. Enemies can also shoot through the barriers to kill the player. The player must shoot and destroy a certain number of enemies on each screen in order to move on to the next. There are four different types of enemies, by killing them the player earns points. FLAPER is 50 points, LINER is 80 points, CIRCLER is 100 points, COMMANDER is mystery point, and a SHIP is added when it exceeds 10,000 points.
The player starts with five ships, and it's game over when all are lost.
