Space Jam: A New Legacy
Description
Space Jam: A New Legacy is a 2D brawler and a tie in to the movie of the same name. There are three playable characters: Bugs Bunny, Lola Bunny and basketball star LeBron James. The game largely uses the movie setting where James and his son get trapped in a digital world because of rogue AI. He teams up with members of the Tune Squad to defeat the powered-up digitised basketball champions of the Goon Squad.
Fighting is done through punches and dashes with a combination of two buttons. Each character has its own special attack that consumes a bit of health. There is also a card system where filling up a meter provides access to power-ups through the cards. Up to eight of these Space Jam cards can be unlocked. The game can be played solo or with up to three local players. A basketball the characters share plays an important role as the team can pass it around to throw or charge it for throw.
After completing the game a Hard and Boss Rush mode can be unlocked. In the latter all three bosses need to be defeated with only one life.
