Space Lanes

Space Lanes is a 1 - 4 player strategy trading game for the Atari 8-bit.

In the future, man has begin to explore and colonize the stars. He has set up outposts on different planets. But these outposts are not self sufficient, and must trade raw material with other planets for supplies and finished products. To move material and supplies from one planet to another, shipping companies were formed. As the shipping companies expanded, the grew into large multi-world corporations called Space Lanes.

The players start new shipping companies and buy stocks in them. As the companies grow, stock prices go up, stocks split, and mergers occur. At the end of the game, the player worth the most is the winner.
