Space Odyssey
Description
Space Odyssey is a text adventure game for the TRS-80.
The year is 2182. The place is the nearby star system of Zeta Omicron. You have been captured by a humanoid race known as the Malokites. During the battle, your star cruiser was all but destroyed, as you were easily overcome by the Malokites technical advancements since they seceded from the Interplanetary Union. You are the only survivor, spared only to be interrogated. You awaken in a small detention cell, and must find some way to escape from the Malokite detention center with as much technology as possible, and return to Interplanetary Union space.
The player must explore the different locations within the alien base, while avoiding detection by wandering guard patrols and other dangers. All entries are via VERB NOUN entry. There are multiple inventory-based puzzles to solve. There is a save/restore feature available.
