Space Raiders

Space Raiders is a 1-player arcade game for the TRS-80 CoCo.

The player controls a ship at the bottom of the screen that moves laterally and fires vertically forwards. The player confronts a never ending barrage of alien raiders, which move as a group laterally until they reach the edge of the screen, move down, and then reverse direction. Enemy vessels intermittently return fire. When all vessels are destroyed, the player starts a new round with the enemy vessels starting slightly closer. If the raiders reach the bottom of the screen or the player is hit by enemy fire, they lose a life.
