Space Shootout

Space Shootout is a 2-player arcade game for the TRS-80.

Each player controls a spaceship on the top or bottom of the screen, which can move horizontally and fire towards their opponent. A field of space rocks, which continuously scroll horizontally, separate the two combatants. The players have limited energy which rapidly recharges, and longer shots require more energy. The players gain points for each rock destroyed, but even more points if they shoot their opponent.
