Space Zap

Space Zap is a 1-player arcade game for the VIC-20.

You are the gunner of a Federation laser satellite, which houses a very important alien ally in the galactic wars. Your satellite is now under attack by evil extraterrestrials, and you must defend its occupant to the death.

The player's satellite can fire in 8 directions, and must rapidly rotate the turret to fire in one direction. The player is also armed with a limited number of high energy superzappers, which can destroy all enemies on the screen. Superzappers require 200 units of energy per firing. Alien saucers fly onto the screen, and the player must blast them before the station is destroyed.
