Description
Spider-Man: Interactive CD-ROM Comic Book! is a digitized version of the comic book The Amazing Spider-Man #238: Shadow of Evils Past from 1983. Despite the title, the comic is completely non-interactive and only adds a narration (the dialogue itself is unvoiced) for every page, and sound effects respectively clips from the 1994 animated series Spider-Man for some panels. It also features character biographies and a video introduction by Spider-Man creator Stan Lee.
The reason this qualifies as a game is the included trivia quiz. The player is presented with a panel of the comic, a question (e.g. "who is the person in this panel?") and four possible answers. After choosing an answer, the game marks the correct answer and plays a sound effect depending on the player's choice.
