Splash Cash

Splash Cash is the first in a series of pinball simulators from Software Illusions.

This is a three reel slot machine simulator based on the British style of fruit machine. It pays out when three identical symbols appear on the centre line. Game features include random nudges, reel holds, a bonus feature as well as the main 'Splash Cash' feature.

Some of the symbols have numbers on them and when these appear in the central line a corresponding number of lights are lit on the trail to the right of the screen. When four lights are lit the player is awarded a minor bonus. When the full trail is lit the main bonus screen is displayed.

The main bonus screen consists of a long trail through which the player advances by spinning a counter. Whatever number the counter displays the player moves the corresponding number of squares along the trail. Each square has a different 'reward' Some offer a Hi/Lo 'All-or-Nothing' feature, others increase the bonus award while others offer a mini bonus. Naturally, if the player makes it all the way to the end of the trail they win the jackpot.

The game runs in a window and documentation explaining the controls and how the feature works can be accessed via the menu bar along with some game configuration options.

The player starts with £10 credit and each spin costs £0.25. The jackpot is £15 and the game has a fixed 80% payout rate. Players can post their high scores on-line on the developers web site
