Splat'ers

Splat'ers is an early capture-the-flag, first-person shooter for Macintosh.

Armed with paintball guns, the player controls the the yellow team is computer controlled. Both teams start in a safe area, and one team is tasked with leaving the safe area to guard a number of flags hidden through a multi-floored complex. The goal is to capture the flags and bring them to the safe area without taking too many hits. Any character taking too many hits is temporarily removed from the game.

During gameplay, the player can travel forwards at four individual speeds, and can also crouch and look with their mouse. Head movement and character movement occur separately, allowing the player to look and travel in opposite direction. Character movement also carries momentum, so the player must choose to stop moving.
