Star Avenger

Star Avenger is a 1-player space-themed arcade shooter for the Apple II.

The player controls a spaceship which can fly and fire in 360 degrees using the Apple Paddles. The player moves about a 4 x 4 grid, and has a map to help locate their position and that of their opponent, a star-shaped alien vessel which will intermittently buzz the player and fire upon them. The player and computer opponent fire upon each other, in an attempt to destroy each other. There are 3 difficulty settings, and 3 game length scenarios which determine the starting health of the player and their opponent. When one player loses all power, they are destroyed.
