Star Driver: Kagayaki no Takt - Ginga Bishōnen Densetsu

Star Driver is a sci-fi visual novel with battle elements based on the anime with the same name. The setting takes place in a Southern Cross high school on a fictional Southern Cross island, same as in the anime, where the protagonist, named by the player, ends up entangled in controlling Cybodies and fighting opposition in Zero Time dimension. The game story branches based on player's choices, and the story itself is not written as new scenario or same scenario as the anime, but instead, an "if" scenario which lets the player alter the original story as if the game's new protagonist was there in the original anime. During even scenes the game sometimes switches to so-called kinship mode where you can get more intimate with the heroines of your choice. While in that mode, the gameplay screen turns to portrait mode, unlike the rest of the game which is using landscape mode.
