Star Trek: The Cold Enemy

Star Trek: The Cold Enemy is a side-scrolling platform shooter. During a mission to the mysterious planet Psi 20, Starship Enterprise is captured by the Klingons, leaving Captain Kirk trapped on the surface of the planet. The player takes control of Scotty, the ship's engineer, who has to find a way to save his comrades. Like other games of its kind, the gameplay involves running, shooting and jumping between platforms. Scotty is equipped with an energy weapon (which can be upgraded with spread shots) to fight the bad guys and can duck to avoid their fire. Additionally, there are grenades that can be thrown. The game also has some puzzle-solving elements as Scotty has to activate and deactivate force fields to progress.
